Abstract

Readers are invited to the end of the article about the Russian-Japanese territorial dispute. The author examines it's development in the reign of the presidents of Russia V. Putin (2004 – 2008) and D. Medvedev (2008 – 2012), describes the current positions and actions of the sides. The efforts of Japan to revise the results of the Second World War are noted.
